We want you to be confident when buying from GLOBAL IMAGES, and we take the provision of Certificates of Authenticity very seriously.
Provenance (history of origin) that the piece purchased is an authentic numbered print of an exclusive limited edition considerably increases its value.
Wherever possible a Certificate of Authenticity will be signed by the living artist, photographer or estate, and verified by GLOBAL IMAGES For security against theft or fraud, the certificates of authenticity are dispatched by USPS 15 days after the image product has been signed for as delivered and the confirmation notified to GLOBAL IMAGES. Certificates will only be sent to the person named and the delivery address on the order.
The Certificate of Authenticity is your proof that the image product is genuinely of the limited edition and the number within that edition. Duplicate Certificates cannot be issued without verifiable proof that the original Certificate has been destroyed. If in the future you decide to sell your image, the Certificate will be an important part of its value and thus should be offered as part of the sale and passed to the new owner.
